With a $52,800 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the generous support of our Donors, GreenUP is proud to have re-imagined and restored the Ecology Park Children’s Garden. Media and key community partners are invited to join this ribbon cutting event as GreenUP celebrates the grand opening of the first Naturalized Playscape on public lands.

• The event will proceed rain or shine!
• We encourage weather appropriate apparel, mud boots and rain coats strongly recommended
• If possible, please bring a reusable mug for your hot cider
• There will be no washroom available on site (the closest washroom is at the Tim Hortons on Lansdowne)
• Photos for use by GreenUP and the media will be taken throughout the event
• Parking is in the Beavermead Parking lot and it is a 5-10 minute walk into the park to reach the playscape
