There needs to be lights on this path at night. I feel unsafe walking through the path and sometimes google maps tells my friends to take that path at night to get to my house. IT IS NOT SAFE. I hear fights here often

report

Potter's Guild is a great spot for kids, adults and families

report

Difficult to turn north due to volume of traffic. Always people trying to run across the street to the bus stop or rushing with a stroller, or an elderly person trying to cross. Scary. Accident waiting to happen. Could definitely use a pedestrian crossing.

report

On Hunter St. for food, friendship, play (festivals).

report

Feel proud of the restaurants, cafes, and businesses on Hunter St.

report

No pedestrian crossing on Rubidge between Charlotte and McDonnel. A crossing at Brock or Hunter would be beneficial.

report

After Mcdonnel, until at least Edinburgh, there are no sloped sidewalks and the drop to the road is very steep, making it inaccessible to cross the street with a stroller, if you are a wheelchair user etc.

report

Underused park. Home for a community garden?

report

Lots of area around community garden... could expand garden significantly.

report

This is a very enjoyable walk, but the sidewalk ends halfway up Golfview. The remainder of the path, all the way to Whitefield Drive, needs to be on the road. OK for adults, but despite local traffic only, can be dangerous with kids (especially on bikes).

report

A pedestrian crossing light would immensely benefit community, allowing better use of green area on both sides of Goodfellow.

report

Area is suitable for winter skating rink, either besides the community garden or inside the playground nearby.

report

A few simple footbridges over the creek, on the path between Silverdale Road and McMann Park, as well as over customarily flooded areas would create a large walkable corridor and integrate the neighbourhoods.

report

Area has but a few paths... could be further developed with simple sports fields which would not be excessively costly to implement and remove in case Parkway is extended.

report

Playground could use some improvements.

report

Community Garden started a few years ago an excellent initiative. Growing pains are bearable.

report

park - have found needles here, making it an undesirable place to take kids

report

Would love to see bridge repainted, repaired

report

Plenty of litter beside the path and around the stairwell

report

report

report

Loud fights at night on the street, people digging through garbage, road kill, garbage all around area

report

report

To upgrade road quality for bicycles

report

People making derogatory comments

report

Traffic. Hunter should be much slower (as should all downtown streets.) Aylmer is perfect for biking - wide and smooth - but hunter and aylmer the intersection narrows and it gets really scary. I've nearly been left-turned into multiple times in the last year!!

report

Traffic. The intersection narrows. Aylmer should be made more bike friendly.

report

Affordable housing needed here

report

report

Unsafe traffic where Rubidge and Reid join

report

Develop affordable housing (higher density) @ Brock Mission

report

Develop as bike oriented. Intensify with housing options (beautiful and affordable)

report

Develop more affordable housing here.

report

Make child friendly! Bethune street generally

report

Smoother road surface needed for bikes, old people and cars.

report

We spend a lot of time at this spot by the trail to have breaks and snacks as a family

report

Sharps bins are needed

report

report

report
