This is a fast growing shrub which can attain heights of 10’. It can grow in damp or dry soils. While it can tolerate part shade, it grows best in full sun. In June, it is covered in lacy white flowers which are followed in late summer by juicy purple berries which are relished by birds and people alike. Plant at least two plants for lots of fruit.
