COVID-19 Updates: GreenUP Store & Resource Centre

April 5, 2022 Update:

In alignment with recommendations from Peterborough Public Health, and in response to the Province recently outlining next steps to living with and managing COVID-19, GreenUP is taking the following measures to ensure the wellbeing, health, and safety of both patrons and staff. Please check this webpage for further updates.

1. Individuals are asked to stay at home and not visit the GreenUP Store & Resource Centre if they or anyone they have been in close contact with have a respiratory illness, have travelled outside of Ontario in the past 14 days, or are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19.
2. Patrons are asked to respect physical distancing (2 metres) and notice that the interior space of the GreenUP Store & Resource Centre is rather small. If you arrive and notice that it may feel uncomfortably crowded for you or others, we invite you to wait outside until some customers have left.
3. It is recommended that patrons and staff of the GreenUP Store & Resource Centre wear well-fitted masks when sharing this interior space.
4. Patrons may shop online for curbside pickup if they prefer that to in-person shopping: shop.greenup.on.ca Our staff are also available to help with purchases over the phone.
5. Cashless payment is preferred.
6. GreenUP staff will not provide any loading services for patrons.

Over the last two years we have lost count of the many times and many ways our community has stepped up to protect, respect, and appreciate one another. We thank you for your continued kindness and considerations.

We encourage you to spread that kindness and support by following other locally-owned businesses and non-profits on social media, and sharing positive reviews when you have positive experiences with them.

Together, we are all living through this pandemic and the ongoing climate emergency. But we are not all experiencing these emergencies in the same ways. Inequity leaves many people in our communities more vulnerable than others. We can continue to respect and support each other as we recover from this pandemic and address the ongoing climate emergency.
